I was born and raised in Salinas, California, the agricultural center of Monterey County. Following graduation from Salinas High School in 1971, I relocated to San Diego to live with friends and to attend Coleman College to become a legal secretary. While working full-time with Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps I attended San Diego Mesa College and received an AA Degree in English.
Following my graduation from Mesa College I chose to attend UCLA as a junior English major. However, after attending UCLA, those large fancy law firms with large salaries were calling to me in Century City and I ended up working for a number of very exciting firms.
In 1982 I met my future husband, Jim Pampuro, and we moved to Salinas following our marriage in November 1982. I continued to work as a legal secretary but began trying to figure out how to get in the real estate industry which I had wanted to do for a very long time. Most of the attorneys I worked for had me work on real estate related matters and I found the area fascinating.
In 1996 my husband, myself and our son moved to nearby Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula where I worked at an antiques and collectibles business I had began and finally one of my associates led me into the real estate business in 2001. Since January 2002 I have worked for Monterey Peninsula brokerages serving buyers and sellers from Salinas to the Monterey Peninsula.
As a fourth generation Monterey County native I enjoy assisting all of my clients and providing them with all of the unique advice and information that I am able to provide for their particular transactions.
